Exeter International Airport

Both Flybe and Air France offer check in at the airport check in desks or through their online check in services. If using the online check in service for either airline plan to check-in at least 2 hours before your flight’s departure. If you do check in online and are travelling with luggage for the hold you will need to take this to the bag drop desks.

Exeter Airport has one small terminal with a small selection shops, places to eat, a currency exchange and ATMs. Shops at Exeter Airport are World Duty Free and WH Smith and when it comes to food you will have a choice of a café, restaurant and a bar.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the airport for up to an hour. There is also an executive lounge available for £16 per person which offers complimentary Wi-Fi, food and drinks.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Amsterdam Airport, located 19km from central Amsterdam has one terminal with gates that exit into the Schiphol Plaza shopping centre. Here you will find a number of information desks, currency exchange points, cash machines, free Wi-Fi, shops, restaurants and bars.

There are many onward travel options to get to Amsterdam from the terminal, including train, bus, taxi, or car hire. The train station is located below the Schiphol Plaza, a short walk from the main Arrivals area. The trains run every 6 minutes throughout the day with passengers reaching the city centre within 20 minutes, a ticket is €5.20.

Buses depart from outside of the terminal building. The fastest buses into the city centre are the 197 and 370 and take around 30 minutes. Single tickets cost €5 and can be bought on the bus.

Cars can be rented in Schiphol Plaza directly behind Arrivals Area 3. Car hire companies based here include, Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
