Terminal Information

East Midlands Airport

East Midlands Airport’s central location serves a number of cities such as Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. You should aim to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Paris is scheduled to depart. Flybe offer standard airport check in and online check in with printable boarding passes at East Midlands Airport. Check in at the airport opens 2 hours before your flight and closes 30 minutes before for passengers with hold luggage and 20 minutes before for those travelling with hand luggage only.

East Midlands Airport has one terminal and a recently redeveloped departures lounge with all of the essential facilities. Shops you will find in the departures lounge at East Midlands Airport are WH Smith, Dixons, World Duty Free and Superdrug. EMA operates an additional shopping bag allowance which means in addition to your hand luggage you can take a standard shopping bag from the airport’s shops on board with you.

There is a Food Court on the first floor where all of the cafes and restaurants are located such as Flat White, Burger King and Castle Rock Taproom and Kitchen. A children’s play area can also be found here.

Free Wi-Fi access is available in the airport for 60 minutes after which the fees are £5 per hour or £10 a day.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Paris Charles de Gaulle, one of the world’s busiest airports is 30km north of Paris. The airport has 3 main terminals with Terminal 2 having 7 sub-terminals all of which are connected by a free 24 hour airport shuttle service. Flybe flights arrive into Terminal 2E.

After arriving into the Terminal 2E Arrivals Hall you will find tourist information points, currency exchange, a duty free shop, a coffee shop and a number of onward travel options.

A train station is located under the terminal which can be reached via the moving walkway. The train from the Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV station to Paris runs on the RER B route and will take around 30 minutes, it is one of the easiest ways to reach the city centre. A single journey costs €9.75. High speed train services run from the station on the TGV line to destinations such as Nantes, Lyon and Marseille.

A number of buses depart from the airport including the easyBus which travels non-stop into Paris and the Night bus services. If you are travelling to Disneyland Paris there is a direct shuttle bus service available from outside of Terminal 2.

A dedicated car rental centre can be found outside of the terminal building, car hire companies such as Avis, Europcar and National Citer all operate desks from here. If you’re looking to take a taxi from the airport there is a taxi rank outside of Terminal 2E at Exit 11.
