Flights from Edinburgh to Tokyo depart from Edinburg Airport (EDI). The airport has one terminal, and it serves both the domestic and international travellers. When looking for a cheap flight from Edinburgh to Tokyo, you should book a flight from Qatar Airways, JAL, or Xiamen Air. Other airlines flying this route include KLM, Air France, Emirates, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines.

However, when shopping and dining around Tokyo, beware that the costs of living are higher by 25 percent when compared to Edinburgh.

Traveling and Dining in Tokyo

Narita Airport is 37 miles away from the city. Two railway lines offer transport to central Tokyo. JR East and Keisei Electric Railway are accessible from all the terminals, and they leave for the city and other towns. However, it is imperative that you read the schedule before hopping on any of them since they operate on different routes. Also, you can travel by limousine buses, which are available at the airport, to the city. Riding in taxis is expensive due to the long distance.

Weather and Time Difference
