You can enjoy a quick takeaway from Burger King or Starbucks, and sit down for a proper meal at Cabin or Dexters. Shops include the usual airport favourites of World Duty Free, Dixons Travel, Boots and WHSmith. There's also a JDSports and a Superdrug. The airport also has two lounges, both run by Aspire, if you're looking for a bit of extra luxury. Entry prices start at £19.99* if you book in advance.

As well as numerous private transfer companies, and hotels that offer transfers to and from the airport, Ibiza Airport is well served by public buses. Bus 10 goes to Ibiza bus station in the island's capital, where you can find onward transport to other resorts and towns. One-way tickets cost €3.50* (about £2.50). During July and August the buses run every 15 minutes, for the rest of the summer season they come every 20 minutes and during winter they arrive once every half hour. Route 9 runs between the airport and the popular resort town San Antonio between 1st June and 12th October. Single tickets are €4* (about £2.90) and the bus operates an hourly service. Route 24 goes to the popular resort of Sant Eularia and Cala Nova, and operates from 1st June to 30th September. Again, it's an hourly service and tickets cost €4* (about £2.90). There's also a taxi rank outside: expect to pay extra if you're travelling at night (10pm-6am) or at the weekend. Hertz, Avis, Europcar and Enterprise all have desks inside the terminal.
