Terminal Information – Departing
Birmingham Airport has one terminal with a well-equipped departure lounge. Terminal Information – Arriving
It takes just over ten minutes to reach the main train station from the airport's S-bahn station. Take lines S7 or S11 to reach the city centre. Train tickets cost €2.50* (about £1.80). Alternatively you can take the bus. The stops are located outside the main arrival hall. Bus 721 connects the airport to the main railway station, and bus 896 offers a shuttle service to the Dusseldorf-Messe (exhibition centre). Bus 760 goes to Dusseldorf- Wittlaer-Bockum, and bus SB51 goes to Dusseldorf-Nordfriedhof. There's a taxi rank outside every terminal. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the city centre by taxi, and you can expect to pay €20-22* (about £14-16) in the metered cabs.
