Airlines that fly from Birmingham to Lanzarote
Monarch Airlines, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines, and Tui all offer direct flights from Birmingham to Lanzarote.
Terminal Information – Departing
Birmingham Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge well-equipped with plenty of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. You can pick up some tax-free goodies in World Duty Free, stock up on sunscreen at Boots, or treat yourself to a pair of brand new sunglasses at Eye Love. If you're in need of refreshment you'll find plenty of options, from sit-in favourites like Giraffe and Frankie & Benny's to grab 'n' go kiosks like Burger King and Deli Hub by Kebabish. If you're looking for a pre-holiday drink you can pop into Wetherspoon's, All Bar One, or the Blanc et Noir champagne bar. For a bit of extra luxury you can check into one of the airport's two executive lounges. Aspire Lounge and No.1 Traveller both offer unlimited Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks and drinks. Entry prices start at £21.99*.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Flights from Birmingham land at Terminal 1. Public transport can be found directly outside the arrivals hall. Bus 22 runs between the airport and Arrecife. The journey takes ten minutes and tickets cost €1.40* (about £1). Note that this bus only runs from Monday to Friday, and not on public holidays. Bus 23 runs on Sundays and public holidays, connecting the airport to Arrecife and Playa Honda. Bus 161 goes to Playa Blanca and Puerto del Carmen. Tickets to Playa Blanca are €3.30* (about £2.30) and it costs €1.40* (about £1) to reach Puerto del Carmen. Route 261 follows the same route but doesn't run on weekends or public holidays. There is also a taxi rank: fares are lowest from 6am to 10pm on weekdays.
Auto Riesen, Cabrera Medina, Cicar, Avis, Payless, Hertz, Europcar and Goldcar all offer car hire from the airport, and have desks in both terminals.
