Terminal Information
Belfast International Airport
Belfast International Airport is 13 miles northwest of Belfast city centre. The airport advises passengers travelling on flights to Paris arrive at least 2 hours before their flight is scheduled to depart. Easyjet offer a full range of check in options, from check in at the airport to self-service check in online with printable boarding passes or via the mobile app which will store your boarding pass on your phone until you need it. There is just one terminal at the airport, with the ground floor designated for arrivals and the first floor for departures.
The airport offers a range of facilities for passengers. You can access free Wi-Fi for up to two hours throughout the terminal and can also choose to speed up your journey through security by buying a Priority Security Pass. Passes cost £3* each and are available from self-service machines adjacent to the security area.
Once through to the departures lounge, passengers have a choice of food, drink and shopping outlets. You can get a quick bite to eat from Starbucks and Burger King, or something more substantial from venues like The Strangford Kitchen & Grill, serving a range of hot and cold food, or Fed & Watered, which has award winning wines and a menu of local cuisine. Shops include WHSmith, Superdrug, a Traveller store and Aelia duty free. There’s also a currency exchange.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is located 30 kilometres northeast of Paris city centre. The airport has three terminals. Terminal 2 is divided into seven sections and EasyJet flights arrive to Terminal 2D.
In the arrivals hall at Terminal 2D, passengers will find a Travelex currency exchange and a tourist information point, offering assistance with onward travel and information on local attractions. Car hire desks are located upstairs from the main terminal building. This area is home to Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, National, Hertz, Thrifty and Sixt.
Car hire is a good option if you’re travelling to Paris suburbs or away from the city. However, driving into the city centre can prove stressful due to complicated road networks and congested traffic.
A taxi rank is located outside exit 7 of Terminal 2D and the average day time journey to the city centre will cost between €50.00* and €70.00*. A number of buses depart from outside the terminal building. The most direct bus is the Roissybus, a shuttle travelling between the airport and the Opera Station in Paris city centre. The journey takes around an hour and costs €11.00*. Trains also regularly make the journey between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and the city. The RER B train takes 35 minutes to reach the city centre and costs €9.75*.
