Terminal Information – Departing
Aberdeen Airport has one terminal. It's no-frills with a small but good range of shops and restaurants. There's a World Duty Free for tax-free luxuries, a WHSmith for in-flight reading, and a Boots for last minute essentials. There are five places to grab a bite to eat. Costa and Joe's Coffee House are great for a quick pick-me-up. More substantial meals can be found at The Globe, The Kitchen and Granite City by Wetherspoon. There's an executive lounge for those who enjoy a bit of peace and quiet or want to get a bit of work done. Entry prices start at £17.50* but once inside you can enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks and drinks.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Newcastle airport is about six miles from the city centre. There is only one terminal and the arrivals area is well connected by public transport. The Metro (underground) is the fastest way between the airport and Newcastle. Tickets cost £3.60* and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Monument station in the city centre. Buses and coaches are also available, but take a little longer due to traffic. There's a taxi rank outside the terminal: expect to pay about £15* to reach the city centre. Car hire is available from Europcar, Avis, Hertz, Budget and InterRent.

Practical Information
You don't need a passport to fly within the UK. You do need to bring ID for security. Eastern Airways accept driving licenses, company ID cards, council issued bus passes, birth certificates, health cards, citizen cards, pension books, expired passports (within two years), and debit/credit cards. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart.
What to expect in Newcastle
