Terminal Information – Departing
This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
London-City only has one terminal. The airport is geared mainly towards business travellers, and its facilities reflect that. There are a few coffee shops, a bar, and some sandwich shops. If you enjoy shopping you can hit Aelia Duty Free, buy some jewellery from Links London, stock up on essentials at Boots or grab some new luggage at Tumi. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal so you can finalise some work, or just enjoy a social media session. City is a 'silent airport' so no announcements are made. Pay close attention to the departure boards to avoid missing your flight.

Practical Information
We recommend arriving at the airport at least 90 minutes before scheduled departure. If you're flying via Dublin you won't need to bring your passport as Ireland is a member of the Common Travel Area. For security reasons you will need to show some photographic ID. In most cases driving licenses, expired passports (up to two years) and other forms of government issued ID are fine. Check the airline's website if in doubt for a full list of approved ID. If you decide to fly to Bournemouth via mainland Europe (Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels etc) you will need to bring a valid passport as you'll be passing through the Schengen zone.
