Terminal Information – Departing
Edinburgh Airport has one terminal. The check in desks are on the ground floor with security located upstairs. Edinburgh Airport's departure lounge is a good size with lots of places to sit and relax while you wait for your flight to be called. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. There are cafes and restaurants to suit a range of tastes and budgets, whether you're in the mood for seafood and champagne or a burger and beer. There's an Aerospa for a pre-flight treatment, and a gallery where you can buy work by Scottish artists. Shops at the airport sell everything, from Scottish souvenirs and duty free to tech goods and fashion. Aspire and No.1 Traveller both have lounges at Edinburgh Airport. The lounges are available to all passengers on all airlines for a fee. Inside you can enjoy complimentary refreshments and Wi-Fi, as well as a more comfortable space to sit.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Norwich International Airport has one terminal. The Park & Ride Yellow Line bus runs from the airport car park to Surrey Street bus station in the city centre. Another option is the local bus route 23, which takes a little longer but is slightly cheaper. Taxis from the airport are quite cheap: expect to pay about £7* for the trip to the city centre. If you want to see a bit more of East Anglia you should consider booking car hire from Norwich Airport.
Practical Information
You don't need a passport to fly from Edinburgh to Norwich as this is a domestic route. You will be asked to show some photographic ID before boarding, however. A driving license is usually fine for this. Check Flybe's website for a full list of acceptable identification types. We recommend arriving at the airport around 90 minutes before scheduled departure. Security can become congested during the summer, so if you're travelling during the holidays we recommend giving yourself extra time at the airport.
