Practical Information

You need a valid passport to fly to Las Vegas. The USA has a visa waiver programme (VWP) in place for British and Irish nationals visiting for fewer than 90 days. You'll need to fill in an online ESTA application 72 hours before you fly. Some people aren't eligible for the VWP: for example people who are planning to work, people who have been arrested, and people who have dual nationality with certain Middle Eastern countries or have visited those countries since 2011. Speak to your nearest American Embassy if in doubt. We recommend arriving at the airport about 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart.
