Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) offer direct flights from London Heathrow to Karachi. Indirect flights are also available through several carriers including Oman Air, Gulf Air, Etihad, and Saudia.

Pakistan International Airlines flights to Karachi depart from Heathrow's Terminal 3. Here, you will find everything that you need to relax and enjoy yourself as you wait to board your flight. There's a selection of coffee places where you can get that all important pre-flight espresso including Caffé Nero, Ca'puccino, Café Rouge, and Costa. Eat, Pret a Manger, and Leon all offer a selection of sandwiches and light snacks. Other food options include Yo-Sushi and Strada or the British-themed Rhubarb, which offers dishes such as pea and mint tortellini and generous breakfast butties. Those with a hankering for seafood can enjoy a glass of bubbly and a selection of caviar and seafood dishes from either Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar or Caviar House Oyster Bar. There’s also a bureau de change where you can exchange your Sterling for Pakistani Rupees if you haven’t done so already.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Jinnah International Airport, Karachi’s largest international and domestic airport, is situated roughly 14 miles from Karachi city centre. The easiest way to get from the airport to the city centre is to take a taxi from the rank outside the airport. Buses are available to the city centre, however these normally take considerably longer than taxis do to reach the city centre. Car hire at Karachi Airport is available through several companies including Hertz and Avis. However, traffic in Karachi can be incredibly congested and, for most travellers the easier option is to let someone else do the driving.
You will need a valid passport to fly from the UK to Pakistan. Those travelling on a UK passport will also need a visa. Passports should be valid for a minimum of 6 months at the time of your visa application. As this is an international flight, you should aim to arrive at Heathrow Airport at least 2-3 hours before your flight is due to depart.
What to expect in Karachi
