A beautiful seaside town in southern Iceland. Puffins roost here and the cliffs provide a home for many other bird species. Great stopping point on Hwy 1 from Reykjavik.

One of the must stop towns on the ring road. It's surrounded by a gorgeous landscape of mountains and ocean and their black sand beaches are exquisite.

A must stop when doing the Ring Road in Iceland. Vik is a small town, but dominated by gorgeous nature (black sand beaches, basalt columns, ice caps and snow-topped mountains) and a quaint little church sitting squarely on a hill overlooking the perfectly European seaside town.

Vik is a required stop along the southern coast of the ring road. The town is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery, including waterfalls, cliffs, black sand beaches and purple mountains!
