Former home to the Brothers Grimm, this charming town feels like a modern-day fairy tail, with curvy, cobblestone streets, rustic old churches and a castles perched on a hill. Being a student town, there's always a lot going on: there's a surprisingly international array of cheap and delicious food options, around 6 movies theaters (including a scenic open air one), many historic buildings and tons of great hiking and outdoor activities.
