Brisbane
Brisbane is a vibrant city with historic buildings, museums, a thriving arts scene and lots of lively nightlife. Besides all of the usual city attractions, Brisbane also enjoys a great location, close to the beaches and sea life of Moreton Bay and some incredible wine country a little way inland. It takes 3.5 hours to reach Brisbane from Hervey Bay Airport, however it can offer the perfect road trip with a number of locations to stop off and explore on the way such as The Sunshine Coast, Bribie Island and Noosa Heads. Drivers should take the Booral Road south from the airport and then pick up the A1 south.

Noosa
Noosa is just one of the seaside resorts along Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It has its own national park covering 4000 hectares of beaches and walking trails. You can go fishing, scuba diving and surfing or just relax down on the beach. The Noosa River offers boat cruises and catamaran trips while the town itself is home to an array of upmarket shops and eateries.

Hervey Bay Airport to Noosa is a 2.5 hour, 188km drive taking the Booral Road south and picking up the A1.

Parking around the Sunshine Coast is often easy and fuss free although in more popular areas of the region, you’ll find an increased number of paid and limited time parking spaces.
