Terminal Information

Bristol Airport

Bristol Airport is a small airport with one terminal. You will need to aim to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your flight to Murcia is scheduled for departure. Easyjet check-in options available are online check-in (printable boarding passes) or mobile app check-in which provides you with an easily accessible boarding pass on your phone. Check-in must be completed from 30 days and up to two hours before your flight

When you arrive at the airport you will need to take any hold luggage to the Easjet bag drop desks in the check-in hall. These close 40 minutes before the flight time. After dropping off your bag you will need to make your way through security and locate your boarding gate. Boarding gates typically close 30 minutes before the flight so you need to ensure there's enough time after dropping off any hold luggage to reach the gates in time, especially during peak holiday periods. You can buy fast track security passes which give you access to an exclusive security lane to speed up the process.

Once you arrive in the Bristol Airport departure lounge you can enjoy browsing in the selection of shops available or grab a bite to eat in the restaurants and cafes. The shops in the departure lounge include World Duty Free, Dixons Travel, Accessorize, JD Sports, Traveller, WH Smith, Claire's Accessories and Superdrug. The places to eat are generally together in the Food Court on the upper level of the lounge, there's Burger King, Dexter's Restaurant and Brunel Bar and Kitchen.

If you need to stay connected whilst at the airport there is one hour of free Wi-Fi access available.

Murcia Airport

Murcia Airport is a small airport on the south east coast of Spain, 45km from the city of Murcia and just 4.5km from the town of San Javier, which has led to it picking up the alternative name of 'San Javier Airport'. It's also 40km from the popular resort of La Manga de Mar Menor.

As Murcia is quite the distance from the airport, and public transport in this part of the region is quite limited it's worth having your journey planned out in advance, there are just three daily bus services which run from the airport to Murcia available and these are all in the afternoon. There is a train station near Murcia Airport, around 10km away, however taxis are the only way to reach this without access to your own transport.

Taxis can be expensive, a typical taxi fare to Murcia will be around €60, and a fare to La Manga resort will be around €50. This is subject to change, especially when travelling late at night. It's worth asking the driver for an estimation of the metered cost before setting off.

If you want a bit more flexibility with your travel plans or you're travelling quite a distance from the main bus route hiring a car from the airport would be more suitable. There's rental desks for Goldcar, Firefly, Europcar and Centauro all available in the arrivals hall, and booking in advance is recommended.
