Birmingham Airport only has one terminal. There's a good range of shops, from designer brands like Hugo Boss and Victoria's Secret to high street favourites Next and Accessorize. Enjoy tax free shopping at World Duty Free, pick up some slick new shades for your holiday in Eye Love, or stock up on sunscreen at Boots. There's a WHSmith for poolside reading and a JD Sports if you need a new swimsuit. Nobody likes to fly on an empty stomach, and Burger King has a great range of places to grab a bite. Enjoy coffee and cake at Caffe Nero, a takeaway treat at Deli Hub, or a burger and fries at Frankie & Benny's.  If you fancy a bit of pre-flight luxury you can treat yourself to a manicure at Cloud Nails, a glass of bubbly at Blanc et Noir, or check into one of the two executive lounges. Both the Aspire Lounge and the No.1 Traveller offer unlimited Wi-Fi and a good selection of complimentary refreshments. Prices start at £21.99* per adult.

All taxis are metered, and you will need to pay a supplement of €3.50* (about £2.50) for airport pick-up plus 50* cents (about 35p) extra for every bag. Taxis in Spain are cheapest from 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday. Higher rates apply during weekends and nights. Car hire is popular at Murcia Airport, and Europcar, Goldcar, Centauro and Firefly all have desks inside the arrivals hall. Remember to compare car hire at Murcia Airport to find the best prices.
