This part of Spain was so beautiful and enchanting I loved the architecture the art, the food and the people
An ancient town a few kilometers from city centre Madrid Rich in cultural buildings local food and pastries and famous for its Aqua dots and. grand Cathedral
Spain has such a treasure trove of riches that some cities get over-looked and should not. Segovia is one such place. For the amazing aqueduct alone this is a must see. The Roman made aqueduct took my breath away on first seeing. It runs for some 850 meters - very, very impressive. The city also has the Alcazar Castle (which I have been told Disney modeled one of it's stories on) - and attention foodies, this is the city in all of Spain most famous for the dish Suckling Pig.
Segovia is one of Spain's most interesting and beautiful cities. It is located about an hour or so north west of the capital city, Madrid. When you drive into the city you are literally spellbound by the incredible majesty of the Segovian Aqueduct, and it gets better from there given the Segovia Old town plaza, the palacios, the alcazar, and the incredible architectural gem, the Catedral.
