Peaceful place for family vacation and surfing. Common euro prices. Lots of german people.
Lovely and romantic. These are the best words I can use to describe this picturesque little village. Restaurants, little shops, a promenade through tradition and modernity and with a stunning view on the ocean. My advice: go there by night and enjoy the atmosphere!
Beautiful white sandy beaches all along the coastline, turquoise sea - water sports, lots of friendly bars and reasonably-priced restaurants in Jandia. I stayed all inclusive at the Paraiso Playa with a balcony view over Esquinzo Beach - got sunburnt on Christmas Day. Staff were brilliant, rooms kept immaculate - maid serviced everyday, food was great - lots to choose from. Relaxing atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.
A long and beautiful promenade, rising above Jandia Beach, connects the new and modern part of town with the old fishing town; less tourists, cheaper and better restaurants can be found there. The beach is huge and the water is shallow and calm, ideal family location, and if you speak German, you'll feel right at home.
