The capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, is the largest city of the country, featuring unique and interesting architectural marvels and temples. The highlight of your trip here should be The Monkey Temple, Baudhanath Stupa, the Durbar Square, Patan, and Thamel districts to name a few.

Its a small country, getaway to nature and if u want to move from a crowd noisy cities. Nepal is the country for u to spend your money. It is a different feeling when you get there but sometimes different feels beautiful. Becareful of pollution as the country is developing country.

For a western eye, Kathmandu is somewhat familiar, somewhat unique. Few temples and monasteries and that's pretty much it. However, the journey of serenity starts once you leave the capital. For a warm-up eye candy, it's perfect.

Kathmandu is a little bit of everything: crazy, chaotic, peaceful, serene, beautiful, ugly, but always authentic. The jumble of cultures and historical clashes, including some very recent ones, shape this unique city. It is an amazing experience just to immerse yourself in these streets!
