Arriving by train from nearby Warnemunde, we took the tram to the central marketplace, where we enjoyed visiting the Sunday market, with lots of local crafts (traditional and contemporary) and regional food. We appreciated free wifi in the tourist information center. Having purchased a day pass for transportation, we ventured out to the suburbs, but preferred spending time in the very walkable city.
