Celina restaurant in El Cortecito is a delicious new choice right on the water
We totally loved it and plan on going back. Flew into Santo Domingo, got in a car rental for 2hrs due East and lived it up. Food is amazing and the drinks are better. Women are ignored here and men are the targets for acceptance and negotiation except I let my girl do the talking and we walked away with beautiful art for better deals.
The locals are friendly and eager to help you enjoy your stay (even more so if you buy some special local rum!). Punta Cana is a multi adventure trip. You can lay on the beach all day, or go hiking, snorkeling, boating, ATV riding, you name it.
Do all inclusive resort but be sure to get off-site some. The Japanese hibachi restaurant's were great!
