Plovdiv Airport (PDV) is the main airport serving Plovdiv and the popular ski resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo. The central location of the airport makes a great jumping off point if you’re planning on exploring a lot of Bulgaria. The airport has recently undergone a €20 million refurbishment, with a lovely new passenger terminal opening its doors at the end of 2009.

Getting into Plovdiv

 

Buses are available at the airport after every scheduled arrival, and bring passengers into central Plovdiv to the Yoog bus station.
