Only 5 minutes’ walk from Squires Gate Train Station and 10 minutes’ from Starr Gate tram stop, Blackpool Airport is very easy to reach by public transport. If you’re arriving at Blackpool North Station from Preston or further afield, the taxi journey to the airport will take around 10 minutes. Buses 7 and 11 run from the Central Coach Station to Blackpool Airport.
The airport is 3 miles from the town centre, off the M55 (junction 4) which connects to the M6, M61 and M65. Drivers can park in the Short Stay and Long Stay car parks for free for the first 15 minutes.
