Petrol stations near Bodrum Airport
Depending on your car rental agreement, you may need to hand your car back with a full tank.
There are two petrol stations just before the turn-off to Bodrum Airport, one to the south and one to the north. The Alpet-tankar station is perfect if you’re coming from Bodrum, and there’s a Shell if you’re coming from Milas.
Driving around Bodrum Airport
The airport is just a short drive away from the D330 dual carriageway which links Yatagan and Karabag. The D330 is well connected to other roads in the region, and if you follow the D550 you can get onto the E87 motorway.

If you can’t find flights to Dalaman for your travel dates you can fly into Bodrum instead. The drive to Marmaris takes just over two hours. On-street parking is metered. There are plenty of covered car parks where you can leave your vehicle while you enjoy a day out in town, or for more peace of mind you can look for hotels in Marmaris with parking facilities.
If you’re looking for a low key holiday on Turkey’s Aegean coast, look no further than Gundogan. It’s not exactly untouched by tourism, but it does retain a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
Gundogan is a 50 minute drive from Bodrum Airport. Most of the hotels in this part of the peninsula have parking facilities but if you’re renting a car it’s always a good idea to double check before confirming your hotel booking.
