Airlines that fly from London to Miami

Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines and British Airways fly direct to Miami from London-Heathrow. Indirect flights are available from Delta and United, with stopovers in other American airports like Atlanta and New York-JFK. You can also fly with Lufthansa with a layover in Frankfurt.

Terminal Information – Departing

Flights to Miami leave from terminals 3 and 5. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout Heathrow Airport. If you need a more powerful connection you can upgrade to pay-as-you go, or book into one of the luxurious executive lounges. There are two lounges in Terminal 3: Servisair and No.1 Traveller. Terminal 5 has an Aspire Lounge. Each one offers complimentary food, drink and Wi-Fi. Terminal 3's No.1 lounge also has a spa, showers and bedrooms, while the Aspire lounge has a spa and a quiet zone.

Terminal 5 is British Airways exclusive terminal (although Iberia sometimes use it too). It offers a wide range of luxury shops and restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food eatery. Terminal 3 also has plenty of high-end stores, with the likes of Alexander McQueen and Chanel if you fancy a spot of window shopping. There are plenty of places to grab a coffee and a bite, whichever terminal you're leaving from.

Terminal Information – Arriving

The MIA Mover electric train runs between the car parks opposite the arrivals area, and goes to Central Station. From here you can catch public transport using MetroBus and MetroRail, and it's also where you can pick up your rental car. If you're considering hiring a car, remember to compare prices with Skyscanner first: it's the easiest way to save money.
