Airlines that fly from St Petersburg to Moscow

Aeroflot, Rossiya Airlines, Gazpromavia, S7 Airlines, Globus, Ural Airlines, and UTair Aviation all fly direct from Pulkovo Airport in St Petersburg to Moscow. This is the airport's busiest route so it's best to book your flight as early as possible.

Terminal Information – Departing

Pulkovo Airport only has one terminal. The departure lounge has lots of international places to grab a bite to eat. Restaurants include Planeta Sushi, American Bar & Grill, Il Patio and TGI Fridays. Coffee shops include Starbucks, Shokoladnitsa and Costa. There's a good range of shops, too, whether you're looking for a souvenir or just fancy a bit of retail therapy. Shops include duty free stores and newsagents as well as designer brands like Longchamp and Michael Kors. There's a business lounge in the domestic area of the terminal with complimentary snacks, drinks and Wi-Fi. First and business class passengers can use it for free, but economy passengers need to pay for access.

Terminal Information – Arriving

At Domodedovo: S7 Airlines, Globus, and Ural Airlines all fly to this airport. Once you arrive you can take the Aeroexpress train or the slower commuter train direct from the airport to Paveletsky Railway Terminal. Frequent buses go to the nearby Domodedovskaya Metro Station, and fixed-price taxis are available too.

At Sheremetyevo: Aeroflot fly direct to this airport from St Petersburg. Getting into the city is fairly easy: you can take the Aeroexpress train from the airport to Belorussky Railway Terminal in the city centre. Buses are also available and official fixed rate taxis can be found just outside.

At Vnukovo: Rossiya Airlines, Gazpromavia and UTair Aviation all fly to this airport. The Aeroexpress train runs from the airport station to Kievsky Railway Terminal. Again, there's a bus to the nearby metro stations. Taxis from Vnukovo Airport don't have a fixed rate, so be prepared to haggle.

Practical Information

Although this is a domestic route, British travellers will need to bring their passport and visa with them. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart.
