What Lublin lacks in modern developments it more than makes up for in old world charm. The Old Town center (that often is the first place in Polish cities to be renovated) has not been fully restored, leaving it with a worn, aged feeling that honestly makes it far more authentic than it's counterparts in Krakow or Warsaw. It's a city of academic centers, clubs and cafes that is a worth a visit when in the eastern part of the country.
