Where to hire a car at Rzeszow Airport

Petrol stations near Rzeszow Airport
If you select a 'full to full' car rental agreement you will need to hand your car back with a full tank.
The best place to fuel up is in Rzeszow. There's a Shell garage on the road leading out of town towards the airport. If you're coming from further afield you will find filling stations on the E40 east, and on the National Road 19 to the north and to the west.
Driving around Rzeszow Airport
The E40 motorway passes close by the airport. This is a large and busy road, so make sure you're comfortable with your car and its controls before setting off. We also recommend choosing a rental package that includes a sat-nav: this will make it easier to find your way to your destination. Remember that traffic in Poland drives on the right hand side of the road. Keep your wits about you at T-junctions.
Getting to your destination
Great shopping, tasty food, and a wild nightlife scene make Rzeszow a fantastic little town for a city break. It also makes a good base for exploring Subcarpathian Voivodship, with plenty of road links into the nearby mountains.
It takes just over ten minutes to drive into the city centre from the airport. Lots of hotels in Rzeszow have car parks for their guests. Some on-street parking is available, but we recommend you leave your rental car in a guarded car park instead. You'll find plenty dotted around the city, some within walking distance of the Market Square.
Set beside an artificial lake, this town is a popular destination for water sports and spa breaks. Boating is popular on the lake, which is affectionately known as the "Bieszczady Sea." Hikers will enjoy wandering the nearby mountain trails.
It takes a little over two hours to drive to Solina from Rzeszow Airport. Most of the hotels and chalets near the lake have car parking for guests. There are also some places to leave your car near the lake and in the mountains. Car parking can become scarce during the summer months, when tourists flock to Solina to enjoy its waterside attractions.
One of Poland's oldest cities, Przemysl dates back to the 8th Century. Unsurprisingly there's plenty of history and culture to be found here. This is also where the mountains meet the lowlands, making it a very scenic and beautiful destination for a break.
It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes to drive to Przemyśl from Rzeszow Airport. There are lots of guarded and public car parks available, although of course we recommend choosing a hotel with parking facilities.
