Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Warm and Welcoming Family

My husband and I stayed four nights over our trip through Nepal last January, before the earthquake. I understand their property was spared so my review is still relevant. There are people in life who touch your heart and Nirvan, his father Sapta and his mother were some of those. They made our stay very comfortable and were always at hand to talk and give advice. They organised a car with driver for our trip to Pokhara and Sapta and his wife cooked special food for me when I was sick. I think often of them and wish them everything good. To escape the tourist bustle of Thamel, stay here. It is within walking distance of the Durbar Square and taxis for out of town are easy to get hold of .

Home Stay Wonder!

The Abode is part of family's home in Kathmandu and it's a lovely home. Nirvan and his family are super nice and welcoming. I enjoyed my conversations with Nirvan and his father. The rooms a well laid out had have their own bathrooms. There is shared living room and kitchen space. There is also a very nice courtyard to sit and relax. The home is not in the thick of the tourist area and a different area of Kathmandu that allows for experiencing more of the city. There is a simply breakfast provided and Nirvan and his family are very accommodating.
