Divava Okavango is nestled on the banks of the majestic Okavango River near the Popa Falls in northeastern Namibia.

Beautiful riverfront, culinary food
This Lodge has beautiful cottages, with bath, outdoor shower, great protection against the mosquitoes. The staff is perfect, the reception well staffed. The curioshop must dispose of all items with damage. The prices are also really too high, in short remediation.
The food consists of 5 courses, culinary more than responsible, you can choose from 3 at maincourse. Service exceptionally good.
The only criticism the dining room tables are dated and heavy. You should consider a makeover.
We went into Mahango park ourselves, actually saw a lion. The elephants did not, but fellow guests saw a herd of more than 30 elephants. Divundu itself is poverty.
Along the way, the first signs of souvenirs can be found and for sale.
We were there for 3 nights, the only downside were the starting showers, but that is possible and nature was happy with it

What an experience. My family enjoyed every second of our get-away, the service was 10 out of 10. When my husband and I had meals and our toddler was too busy the waiter took him and kept him busy for us to enjoy our meals. Everyone was sooo friendly and accommodating

Never ever
Very disappointing.
Nothing special that not every other lodge in this area does not offer.
Uncoordinated reception, and that went on throughout the stay.
Food rather cut through, little local.
The only highlight :
Boat tour with Cpt Joseph and the two game drives with Dieter.

Good experience
Being our first time in namibia we didnt know what to expect. Approaching the resort gives you very erie vibes. But once your inside its pleasant. The views are lovely, and you will meet a resident jackal. The room we stayed in was decent, could do with some improvement. The food is also decent, but would be great to have more variety on the lunch menu. The WiFi is a bit of a challenge, only accessible in two places and if the wind is strong it doesn't work.
Vee from the reception and blanche at dinner service were lovely members of staff, I hope they get to see this.
No noise issues at all. Cleanliness could be taken up a notch.
We saw some beautiful sunsets and sunrises, had a perfect little spot with a great view during breakfast and lunch.
Overall a great experience for our first time in sossusvlei. Thanks for having us.
