Villa Park Sun Island Resort is accessible either by a short domestic flight + speed boat transfer or by seaplane. Guests must provide arrival and departure international flight details at least 7 days prior to arrival to secure seats. Transfer options: • Domestic Flight Transfers (Round-trip): • Adult (12 years and above): USD 400 • Child (2–11 years): USD 200 • Shared Seaplane Transfers (Round-trip): • Adult (12 years and above): USD 550 • Child (2–11 years): USD 275 • Private Seaplane Transfers: • USD 5,500 per way per flight (maximum 12 passengers per flight) Infants (below 2 years old) travel free of charge, unless a separate seat is required. To reach the property on the same day by domestic flight, guests must arrive at Velana International Airport before 1700 local Malé time. Seaplane transfers are scheduled during daylight hours between 0600hrs and 1600hrs. For arrivals to the resort, seaplane transfers from Velana International Airport will be arranged for guests arriving on international flights between 0600hrs and 1530hrs. For departures from the resort, seaplane transfers to Velana International Airport can only be arranged for international flights departing after 09:00hrs. The baggage allowance is 20 kg for checked luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged by the airline at approximately USD 5 per kg plus taxes. Compulsory Festive Meals: Mandatory supplements for Christmas eve (24th December) and New Year's eve (31st December) gala dinners will be charged as below. Payment before arrival via bank transfer or payment link is required. The property will provide payment instructions after booking. • Christmas Eve (24 December): USD 260 per adult / USD 130 per child (under 12 years) • New Year’s Eve (31 December): USD 350 per adult / USD 175 per child (under 12 years) • Infants under 2 years: No charge Please note that guests are required to show a photo ID and the same credit card used to secure the reservation upon check-in.
