We left a day early as the accommodation was not accurately described or pictured. This is a hostel and not a 3 star hotel. No staff, and slow to respond to email. Room not as pictured, cold and dingy, both hand soap and shower wash dispensers were empty, no kettle as advertised, TV with no channels, socket by bed not working, kitchette for shared use was unclean.
So many good hotels in Iceland so don't waste your time staying here.

So many good hotels in Iceland so don't waste your time staying here.

This self serve hotel was very pricey for what you get. There was an “old smell” that didn’t go away even with windows open.
The bathroom grout was mildewy, soundproofing was non-existent.
Spend the extra money, and go to the hotel next door if you can. (They’re managed by the same staff).

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. No sign post to indicate the building is a hotel. Self' check in so zero customer service
