OK, so you know you want to go to Gibraltar, but where should you stay? It's actually not an easy question — with so many different options, where do you even start? Well, we think the most reliable people to tell you what it's like to stay somewhere is other travellers.

We've found that the best peer-reviewed affordable hotels in Gibraltar include some of its best-known properties, including Rock Hotel, Sunborn Gibraltar and Bristol Hotel.

Better still, you can search and compare user-reviewed hotels in Gibraltar here with Skyscanner. It's way faster than doing a ton of your own research, and totally free. Plus, once you find the hotel you like, we'll even help you book it — again, with absolutely no added fees.

And if you're looking for something to do nearby, we can also tell you which hotels are nearest to major Gibraltar sights like Ape's Den, Port of Gibraltar or Gibraltar Museum.

A must in your list to visit if you are on the Costa del Sol. Beware of the monkeys..

Very odd place .Often filled with expats needing a fix of fish & chips or Branston pickle. The rock is good, the apes are mean, be careful - they bite. Quite funny watching other people being bitten . No shouldn't have written that - bad karma !

Get a taxi tour up 'The Rock of Gibraltar' and see the barbary apes. Wander through the shops with tax free goods. Visit the new marina area with shops and restaurants.

GIBRALTAR Actually very special that once you pass the border from the South of Spain, in my case running over the airport of this rock, you all of a sudden are in an English City. Gibraltar is, if you're in the area, worth a visit.
