Nice and cheap 4 star hotel

The welcome is excellent and the price very reasonable.
In the center of Cuenca and simultaneously 1km from the bus station and 1.5km from the airport (no plane noise because 5 or 6 flights per day during the day)
The staff is very helpful
The rooms are huge (almost 30 m2 for a standard room)!

Hotel Yanuncay Cuenca our first resting place in Ecuador

Our first 3 nights in Ecuador was spent at The Yanuncay Hotel in Cuenca. The hotel is a very short taxi ride to Parque de La Madre and all the wonders of the historic district. The hotel manager Marcos was amazing! He made every effort possible to be helpful and accommodating. We had 6 very large and heavy pieces of luggage and he helped us load all of them in our van that carried us to Loja. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Thank you Hotel Yanuncay for making our welcome to Ecuador so warm and welcoming.

Located in El Centro near Mecrcado 9, Hotel Yanuncay has easy access to local shopping and restaurants. Catching a taxi is easy and most rides around Cuenca take little time.
The hotel has an elevator and on site parking.
Although the staff does not speak English, they are very accommodating and work hard to make your stay enjoyable.
