I love Trinidad! Such a wonderful place. Make sure to visit a few of the museums, especially the Romantic Museum and the Architecture Museum, both very interesting.
lots of artists and music in the streets but I couldn't help but feel it was a bit of a tourist trap. it's beautiful sure but the soul of the city has gone
Trinidad is so wonderfully well-preserved town of colourful Colonial buildings and cobblestone streets. A picture perfect living museum that transports all comers back to the Spanish Colonial period. The best way to see it is on foot. At night, the area around the main square comes alive with live music and dancing from the Casa de la Musica, restaurants and bars competing for your tourist's money.
The vibrant, colonial town of Trinidad is one of my favorite places in Cuba. The main square is beautifully preserved, as are many of the grand houses around it. In fact, many of the old mansions now serve as art galleries and museums. One of best paladares in Cuba is located right off the main square, called Sol Ananda. Highly recommend the shrimp curry. Ask to take a peak of the owner's wine cellar while you are there!
