Day One
Hello Adventurers! My name is Kristen Sarah aka @hopscotchtheglobe and for the next week, I’ll be taking over the Skyscanner Instagram account. I’ll be sharing some of my favourite global experiences with you from over 12 years of travelling. The theme is "Nature is Awesome." As a full-time traveller, vlogger/blogger, I love capturing my global experiences through the lens and sharing them with the world. My goal is to inspire others to get out there and explore! Adventure is for everyone!! Make sure to follow along on Insta-stories as well, as I’ll be taking you with me on some Canadian winter adventures.
Day Two
What’s the best way to get around Canmore, Alberta in the winter? By dogsled of course! There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by mountains and snow while being pulled by a bunch of super excited pups. Have any of you been dogsledding? If so, where?
Day Three
A little cabin in the woods. One of the many reasons why I love Finland is because of the appreciation the locals have for nature. They love being outside, no matter the season. Who would love to be here right now?
Day Four
While exploring the caves of Postojna (Slovenia), I came across these incredible ice stalagmites. I felt like we were walking through another planet. Nature is amazing.
Day Five
One of my favourite things about Canada is that you can experience all 4 seasons. Autumn is definitely my favourite. What’s yours?
Day Six
Getting to see icebergs in Greenland was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life.
Day Seven
Can you think if a better view? If you get a chance to travel to Alberta, be sure to get up for sunrise at Lake Louise. Winter or summer, this is place is pure magic.
