Arnold Clark offer a meet and greet service; a representative from the car hire company will meet you in the terminal building and transfer you to their city centre office, a six minute drive away.
Petrol Stations near Dundee Airport
If you have hired a car from Dundee Airport with a “full to full” fuel policy you will be required to refuel the car before returning it.
Those travelling to or from Dundee city centre, will find a Tesco petrol station located on the A85, Riverside Drive. It’s just three minutes from the airport. Heading on the A85 in the opposite direction, towards Perth, will find a BP petrol station on the A90, seven minutes from the airport.

Dundee Airport is located on the A85 ring road so it offers easy access to Dundee city centre and further afield.
The A85 east takes you into the city centre while going west, you can pick up the A90 going south towards Perth. The A90 also goes north, up towards Aberdeen.

Dundee city centre is just a short 10 minute drive from Dundee Airport, taking the A85 ring road east. There are some pedestrianised shopping streets in the city centre but generally, driving around the city is problem free. There are numerous big car parks around the city and over 500 street parking spaces.
Montrose is a coastal town located in between Dundee and Aberdeen. It’s a historic town with its own museum, a sandy beach and a nature reserve. The Montrose Basin Wildlife Centre offers ranger led tours of the nature reserve which is home to a range of wildfowl and birds. Along the coast there are picturesque lighthouses, the golf links and lots of pretty picnicking spots.
Montrose is just under an hour’s drive north from Dundee Airport. Drivers can take the ring road heading east and then pick up the A92 which enjoys some coastal stretches. There are four main car parks in Montrose, three located around the golf links and one close to the rail station.
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park
The national park around Loch Lomond offers lots of activities for young and old. There’s a distillery where you can learn about the whisky making process, a safari park, an equestrian centre and cycling trails. On the water, visitors can enjoy a relaxing loch cruise or engage in some high adrenaline water sports.
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are around two hours from Dundee Airport. From the airport, drivers should take the ring road west and then pick up the A90 towards Perth. There are visitor car parks located at various points around the park and the loch.
