Getting into Caen

The TWISTO shuttle bus meets Flybe flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets cost €6* (about £4.75). If you would rather have your own form of transport you can rent a car at the airport from Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, or Hertz. 

Taxis are available, and fill the taxi rank upon arrival of every scheduled flight. As a guideline, you should expect to pay around €20* (about £15.75) for a trip into the city centre during the day from Monday to Saturday, and €30* (about £23.65) for journeys after 7pm or on Sundays and public holidays. Prices can vary however, so speak to your driver before entering the cab.
