Take your pick of museums in Amsterdam (the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam are a few favourites) and wander through its quiet canal streets. In Rotterdam, cruise along the river, soaking in the sites of the new-meets-old city. Berlin takes on a cool vibe once the days get shorter. You’ll find plenty of art exhibits, festivals and cultural workshops to keep you busy.

To step back in time, venture to Milan. You’ll enjoy interesting architectural and historical sights without the crowds. You could see the Colosseum sprinkled with snow. Celebrating four decades of aviation with a new luxury pre-flight hospitality experience

As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations in 2027, London City Airport will introduce its first luxury pre-flight hospitality experience, in partnership with Swissport International’s airport hospitality brand, Aspire Pre‑Flight Hospitality. 

Opening from early 2027, the premium pre-flight experience will feature a stylish lounge overlooking the runway, a cocktail bar, barista-crafted coffee, curated food and drink offerings, and dedicated workspaces with private booths. 

Designed for both business and leisure travellers, the new lounge will further enhance London City Airport’s award-winning customer experience and provide a relaxing space to unwind before take-off.
