Holyhead was probably my favorite part of Anglesey Island. I think that this is probably the town on the island that has the most stuff to do. It's really cute and has a great local vibe, even if you're not from there. I'd highly suggest making this your base during your time exploring Anglesey Island!

This is is a small town in Wales with a deep water port - free shuttle service was offered. We were there during a festival which I think included almost everyone in town. Parade, competition and festival area on the seaside - neat.

The ferry terminal and train station are pretty good, and from what I saw the town is quite nice too.
