Great location

Great location, a minutes walk from everything you need to see. Cinco Bolas is a modern newly decorated basic apartment with all the facilities you would need. Nice hot shower if a little on the small side. Windows just to a void in building so hard to tell what the weather was like outside.
Only minor downsides was there was noise from a bar that we could hear from 7pm - 1am, never found out where it was coming from, shame as it sounded like a lively place to visit!
There didn’t seem to be any fire escape so if the front door was blocked by fire you would have nowhere to escape to? Not sure if this is a Spanish thing but you would expect a fire escape somehow?
All in all for the price we paid it was more than acceptable , would probably stay in it again if we wanted a cheap stay.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel regarding the handling of my booking and cancellation.
I contacted the hotel directly to request a free cancellation and was instructed by their staff to proceed immediately with cancelling the reservation so that the room could be made available again. I followed these instructions in good faith.
After doing so, the hotel did not provide any timely or clear confirmation regarding whether my request for a free cancellation would be accepted or whether any refund would be issued. Instead, I was left without a proper response for a significant period of time.
Given the circumstances, including a serious family health issue that prevented me from travelling, I expected at least a more understanding and responsive approach. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
Overall, the communication and handling of the situation felt unprofessional and unfair. I would advise future guests to be very cautious and ensure all cancellation terms are clearly confirmed in writing before taking any action.

Horrible

If you get room nr. 3 or room nr. 1 request an immediate change!
The flat:
1) Broken AC, although in the description the AC was working
2) The TV wasn't working
3) The walls were dirty
4) The bathroom needs a lot of renovation like changing the woobly sink and changing the shower hose because it was damaged
5) The blinds on the windows were dirty
6) The view, and this one is important, is missleading from the presentation add! You are surrounded by walls!!! Even the sun doesn't reach your windows because it is covered!!! It feels very claustrophobic!!!

Terrible

Incorrect! I do not recommend! You can pay and you don't get a key! My flight was delayed. I followed the hotel's instructions for an additional charge, but did not receive a key. They do not answer the specified contact phone number. We traveled with a child. The stress was enormous. We relied on a prepaid reservation.

Dangerous odours

Was due to stay here today. We checked in. The guy on reception was really helpful. However when we got to the room the smell of ammonia was overpowering and I would describe it as dangerous. We were light headed and nauseous. We immediately went back to reception and cancelled. It was a real faff tooing and froing with booking. Com. Only here for less than 24 hours. Fortunately got something close by pretty quickly. Malaga is lovely but the accommodation was in my view dangerous to health. To rub salt in the wound despite coming up to the apartment the reception person didn't seem at all fazed even though she admitted wouldn't want to stay there herself. Now struggling to get our money back.
