Nice hotel close to Diveagar Beach !!
The bathroom was neat and had 24/7 hot and cold water, although the hot water pressure could definitely be improved, and the shower wasn’t working during our stay. The room amenities were basic—a comfortable king-size bed, cupboard, and TV—but a tea/coffee maker would have been a nice addition.
Don’t expect scenic views from the rooms, as they mostly overlook nearby homes and coconut trees. However, the beach is just a short walk away, which makes the location convenient even though it’s not visible from the property.
One of the highlights for us was the swimming pool. It’s well-designed, especially for families, with a separate kids’ section and a couple of slides—definitely a hit with children. That said, the pool water could have been cleaner.
The staff deserves a special mention—they were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist, which added to the overall positive experience. The in-house restaurant is small but offers a decent variety of dishes. While the food was okay, it could be elevated with more authentic/local flavors.
Breakfast is simple and limited (usually 1–2 items with tea), so it’s best not to expect a full buffet spread.
The resort is also within walking distance of the beach and Uttareshwar Mandir, making it a convenient base for a short getaway.
Overall, Emerald Resort is a clean, budget-friendly option for a relaxed stay—especially suitable for families looking for a quiet break close to the beach.
