An unforgettable experience!

Excellent environment in a beautiful apartment complex with comfort. The bar has an incredible atmosphere and great service. They are ideal restriction and the reviews really few about the hospitality they offer. Thank you to Alexander who took care of us daily and the owner of the accommodation Constantino for all the hospitality!

Hospitality

In this b & b the watchword is hospitality, as in every Greek island I visited. It is located in a quiet street but very accessible to the beach and the center of Ipsos, full of shops, mini markets and taverns. The spotless room is renovated. Kostas, the Owner, very kind and extremely helpful and so the staff who follows him (very nice, a gentleman who prepared breakfast in the morning whose name unfortunately I do not remember). Breakfast super plentiful and delicious! Greek yogurt with cereal, banana and peanut butter is the TOP! Despite the dancing time, we had a relaxing and quiet stay! Once again, thank you Kostas!

Great stay! Good location!

It was our first time visiting Corfu and although we had a thunderstorm everyday we loved every minute of our holiday! We stayed at Villa Sofia as it ticked many of our boxes that we wanted for our holiday, having a pool, pool bar, supermarket nearby and not far to the nightlife and restaurants and reasonably priced. The apartment was a good size, however the bathroom was quite small- it had what was needed but we found the space in the bathroom was a problem as you couldn’t sit on the toilet comfortably, the other apartments may be different as there is only 6 but that was a downfall for us!! The nearest supermarket is a 2 min walk and the town is a 10 min walk, there is a variety of restaurants in Ipsos but they are mainly Greek, which sounds daft but sometimes you fancy something a bit different than souvlaki or gyros!! There is a Chinese that is really good food and also Als taverna was good value for money and a lovely setting right on the sea. There is a range of bars however none of the bars held any caberet nights, bingo nights or entertainment!! We didn’t find this a problem but sometimes it’s nice to join in something like this on holidays! We enjoyed our stay at villa Sofia but as our flight was late at night we had what we had thought arranged late check out and on the day of departure we got told we hadn’t and had to be out our appt at 12noon, there is no courtesy room or reception area and although we hadn’t found this a problem, on your last day of holiday when the temperature is about 35- 40 degrees you want a shower before travelling!!! We had to get changed and dressed in the pool bar area which is on the main road and although we managed it wasn’t ideal. The apartments are owned by a family and they are cleaned on a daily basis. We were bitten to death by mosquitos and although we did have repellant and room plug ins it didn’t make much difference!!

Spot on!

This was not our first stay at Villa Sofia and as always, everything was spot on. The hospitality is like being among family, the rooms are modern and very clean, the food is good and everything was excellent value for money
The area is quiet and only a short walk from all the amenities in Ipsos

Great value really nice hosts

Villa Sofia is run by Sofia and her son Kostas nothing is too much trouble for them they are wonderful hosts. The villa is beautifully clean and the pool although a tad cold in October is very clean. Breakfast is great value and cooked and prepared freshly. We had a lovely time and will look forward to visiting again.
