What started as a gift for the company anniversary became a very special highlight for us. The greeting alone was an absolutely warm welcome. After an aperitif, we were introduced to the history of the house and its identity, and the most important rooms were shown to us for orientation. We were accommodated in a Maisäß Barga, in the brother's house, a double room that was very well equipped down to the last detail with a beautiful covered and spacious balcony. A minibar, electric kettle, and a small coffee machine complete the all-around very good equipment. All details, carefully implemented, reflect both exclusivity and the local style and identity of the house. That was very impressive because this concept was palpable and visible throughout the entire house. Both spa areas are outstanding. We spent most of our time in the upper "adults only" area and really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the cozy retreats, the roof terrace, the outdoor pool, and the various saunas. We were not avid sauna-goers, but we were very enthusiastic about the house's infusion program and the absolutely pleasant atmosphere, the available offerings of drinks, fresh fruit, and small snacks.
There is so much attention to detail, and you can feel that in the staff throughout the entire hotel. No matter what position we had contact with, everyone is very accommodating, absolutely warm, and helpful at all times. There was only one request as to whether anything could be changed regarding the firmness of the mattress, and even there, the interaction between reception and housekeeping worked perfectly - it was improved with care and total affection.
The breakfast selection is indescribable, not even to be grasped at first glance, and it felt like no wishes were left unfulfilled. The people in service provide the guests with a wonderful experience, with special care and friendliness that is second to none. We were and are very enthusiastic; the identity and quality of the hotel are impressive, the warmth and care of the staff simply outstanding. We will be back, that was our consensus on the trip home.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation
We enjoyed a wonderful short vacation. We stayed at Amrai Bruder and had a very spacious and beautiful room. Very large shower and a separate (enclosed) toilet. Unfortunately, there is only one sink, although there is enough space for a second one.
Walk-in closet with Nespresso machine and kettle. The provided coffee capsules were not very fine - but that is a matter of taste. Very large covered balcony. Unfortunately, the loungers were extremely uncomfortable and were not replaced despite two requests.
Very large bed; for us, the mattresses were a bit too soft.
The lunch snack is served. Either you take the menu, then everything is included, or you order from the menu, in which case you have to pay an extra charge depending on the dish. It is only calculated in this direction - if you order something from the menu that does not cost 15 euros, it will not be credited to your account.
Personally, we prefer lunch snacks in buffet form with salads and a soup.
We ate very well; the dinner at Kupfergrill was particularly noteworthy - fantastic.
Sommelier Matthias surprised us with great wines in a very competent and enthusiastic manner and quickly figured out our taste.
Both wellness facilities are nice; the one at Amrai Bruder adults only is very pleasant. The large outdoor pool would be great if it opened a bit earlier and was a bit cooler - in terms of size, it is pleasant for swimming.
The rooftop terrace is nicely landscaped - unfortunately, there are too few shaded areas.
We can recommend Amrai 100%.

Exceptional attention to detail and genuinely thoughtful hospitality
We had a truly wonderful stay at Amrai Suites in Schruns, and what stood out most was the warmth, friendliness, and attention to detail from the entire team. In particular, the director, Vivian, and the staff set a standard of hospitality that feels both personal and effortless.
A moment that really captured this: it happened to be my wife’s birthday during our stay. During the pre-check-in process, the hotel asked for guest details including birth dates, which we provided without mentioning the occasion. We weren’t expecting anything—honestly, we didn’t even hint at it.
On the evening of her birthday, we came down to dinner and noticed a beautifully prepared table subtly decorated. It was only then that it became clear the team had picked up on the date and quietly arranged something special. To begin the meal they brought a thoughtful non-alcoholic sparkling wine (knowing our preference), after dinner they served a lovely chocolate cake with a candle for dessert. No fuss, no singing—just elegant, understated care.
That approach really reflects the hotel as a whole: nothing overdone, but everything considered. Small details are noticed, and gestures feel genuine rather than scripted.
Overall, we left with the feeling that Amrai Suites is not just about beautiful rooms, but about people who truly pay attention.

The second and last time.....
I stayed with my partner for the second time in this hotel.
I was thrilled by the first visit, so we spent part of our honeymoon there.
Then came the disillusionment.....
The unwarm welcome at the beginning was already a first shock!
At check-in time 15.00 absolutely understaffed at reception.
Were asked to sit down with a welcome drink.
Well, it was delicious but how does it go on? We had to report back to reception after 30 minutes to be served!
Your room is ready and you can move into your room, I paid for it! and it's 3.30pm! With the info: You have been here before we were escorted to our room. Yeah, we've been here. But Amrai's brother wasn't there yet. In other words, it's all different than when I first met you! Interested little to no, we had to ask everything to get information.
A bright spot - great room we got there also the bed was lovingly decorated here and it was clean. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
As my prescribers have already mentioned, there is a mess in the dining rooms, decency, respect and friendliness of the guests misrepresentation!
The food was delicious but always lukewarm when serving. Very bad, the quality was very good.
Except for one evening when we got lucky with the waitress, it was underground with the waitress. German is considered a foreign language and you are served with English.
Luckily we had sauna/steam bath in the room. Hotel totally overcrowded and a rather manageable but well-kept wellness area!
Cosmetics/wellness treatments are fully booked for days, we had a voucher for it and could not redeem it. No accommodation, nothing!
Arrogant person at the reception of the wellness area, made shift changes in the middle of our conversation!!
My conclusion: More appearances than his!
But as long as the dear Swiss come and browse through the juicy prices, nothing needs to be changed.
I will avoid this hotel in the future and focus on price/performance smaller hotels.
It was sobering and disappointing, if it wasn't for the good food I wouldn't have been able to stand it 3 nights more!
Look for something smaller and more familiar!
