- No.1 for prices
- No.1 for user-friendliness
- No.1 for market coverage
- No.1 for relevance of search terms
Good news! Over 2,200 travellers have voted Skyscanner as the best travel comparison site according to a new survey by consumer champions Which?.
Travellers were asked to rate their experiences using well known sites like Tripadvisor, Trivago, Google Flights and Kayak for researching and booking flights and hotels over the past two years.
Skyscanner was rated the best across a range of categories including price, user-friendliness, market coverage and relevance of search terms. What’s more, we were the only site to score four stars for value for money.
In a separate snapshot investigation, Which? Travel also pitted the seven most used flight comparison sites against each other to see which found the best prices most often.
Skyscanner produced the cheapest price six out of 10 times, with a last-minute return flight to Krakow – voted Which? Travel’s best destination for a city break – Skyscanner was at least £60 cheaper than any of the competitors.
Rory Boland, Which? Travel editor, said:
“Holidaymakers are known to spend hours and sometimes days looking for the best hotel rates and the best airfares, so for many of us travel comparison sites are the first port of call.
“There are really only one or two sites you should consider using though if you want to save yourself both money and time.”
But we think there’s only really one, so where are you going next?
