Discover Brest
Set in one of Brittany’s most beautiful natural harbours, Brest provides an excellent base for discovering this lovely and historic region of France. Brest was destroyed completely during WWII, but unlike other towns which painstakingly recreated their old buildings Brest has taken a huge leap towards the futuristic. These days you can spot plenty of modern architecture, including the iconic Pont d l’Ilroise bridge. The lively university population adds a great evening ambience to the town, and family visitors will adore a visit to the famous Oceanopolis aquarium.
