Edinburgh Airport has recently been refurbished. Airport security is now located on the right hand side when you go upstairs, after checking in on the ground level. The departure lounge has been expanded with lots of new shops and restaurants. In addition to Boots, there's also a large Superdrug where you can pick up your holiday prescriptions along with sunscreen and toiletries. Other shops include MAC Cosmetics, World Duty Free, Accessorize and Dixon's Travel. There's an art gallery where you can admire pieces by local artists, and an Aerospa where you can enjoy a pre-holiday treat. Dining options range from seafood and sushi to burgers and sandwiches. Aspire and No.1 Traveller both have pay-in lounges at Edinburgh Airport: great if you're looking for somewhere comfortable to relax before boarding. There are lots of places to sit in the airport, and a few plug sockets for charging phones and laptops.

Palma Airport also has one terminal. The airport is served by two bus routes: #1 and #21. Bus #1 runs between the airport, the city and the port, and stops at numerous points of interest. Alternatively you can book car hire from Palma de Mallorca Airport. Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Goldcar, Sixt, Record Go and Enterprise all have desks inside the terminal.
