Skyscanner's 2025-2026 Climate Action Plan

Skyscanner's yearly Climate Action Plan update

At Skyscanner, we want travel to remain one of life’s great joys for generations to come. That means being honest about our environmental impact, taking action to reduce it and sharing openly where progress remains difficult.

Over the past year, we have continued to improve our understanding of our footprint. Our Scope 1 (direct emissions) fell by 28%. However, our total measured emissions increased by around 30%, partly reflecting business growth and partly because better data has given us a fuller, more accurate picture of our impact.

Our latest Climate Action Plan 2025-2026 covers our 2025 emissions, and sets out the detail behind these figures, alongside the steps we are taking across our offices, cloud platform, supply chain, corporate travel and other areas. This includes platform energy efficiencies, engaging our highest-emitting suppliers and investing in Sustainable Aviation Fuel and high-quality carbon removals.

We remain committed to reducing our emissions. While we know the route will not always be straightforward, we believe transparency, credible data and collaboration across the travel industry are essential to making meaningful progress.

Thank you for joining us on this journey.
