Great area

We rented the cabin Rønnø which was set up in 2025. So the cabin had gone equipped and things were new.
But a little trick for it was not possible to open any windows, not even in the bedroom. Very bad air.
Also not light curtains in the living room, which is also used as an extra sleeping space with a sofa bed.
Bad bed in the bedroom.
Nice area with great walking trails.

Never again

We left 3 days early, because of the noise from drunk people, loud festival music and too many people on not that much space. The fire regulation wasn’t followed at the place we had our tent and it seem like we travelled back in time to a cowboy village.
We charged our car at the camping site, but had to pay for the parking space while it charged. This seems like a robbery.
I have never been to a more noisier camping site. Loud music and screaming people like you were on Ibiza. I can’t recommend this camping site to anyone. You need a new vacation when you get home from Västervik Resort.

Slightly disappointed this year

Lysingsbadet is an incredibly nice campsite, but this year we were disappointed. We booked a cottage June 6 to June 13. but almost nothing was open and you got no information about it when you booked. We were three in the cottage and only got 1 key. It made a mess when we didn't always do things together. And the day before we were going home we got the email that now it's getting closer to arrival and therein was the boom code. Which we did not have when we arrived on June 6.

We have been talking about visiting this resort for years. But there was a great disappointment dirty unpleasant people sneaking around and picking deposits among playing children. We still think we're in the wrong place and missed the resort...

Poor service, if you have an electric car. 116 SEK for 16min parking

Nice campsite but and we have been here 6 years in a row now but... We have an electric car and had to charge the charging stands inside the campsite. Although we already pay 500 kroner per day to stay here, you also had to pay to EasyPark to park your car at the charging stations that are on the campsite (+ payment for electric self.) When I found out about this, I stopped paying with EasyPark and was charged 116SEK for 16 mins of parking ! The fact that Västervik Resort has a partnership with EasyPark, about paying for parking, when you have to leave your car on the campsite is absolutely ridiculous and , I will consider whether I should camp here in the future

You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent on site for 150 SEK. You can choose to clean the accommodation yourself. Cleaning equipment is available. A cleaning fee will be charged if you do not clean before check-out. The fee may vary. If you expect to arrive after 16:00 from 1 October until 30 April, please inform Västervik Resort in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact the property. Please note that the Adventure bath in the Resort is only open Saturday to Sunday during September. After September it is closed until May 2026. Lysses Playground in Marielund is currently closed for renovations. It will reopen in June 2025.
